Speaker line-up builds for #SMWF in March
#SMWF, the premier event for social and digital marketing professionals taking place in London’s Brewery March 31 to April 1, is fast approaching and the speaker line-up is building fast with more than 20 high profile speakers from across industry now confirmed for the event.
Latest speakers include Pierre Woreczek, chief brand and strategy officer for McDonalds, who will deliver a presentation within the #SMWF Keynote session looking at how to build a brand voice through social and the tricks for doing something a little different – whilst also empowering representatives within your company to share the same brand voice.
As another household brand name the presentation from Marks and Spencer’s head of social media Julia Monro is also likely to prove a key draw. Her speech will look at the power of injecting social into the customer journey and the how to’s for doing so. It will include a look at how to deliver and maintain engagement with a customer across multiple devices and channels – a key challenge for retailers and many other businesses currently.
Ever wondered how a brand primarily aimed at children uses social media to build and engage fans? With head of social media EMEA for The Walt Disney Company Shira Feuer taking part in a panel discussion at #SMWF you will be able to find out. Appearing alongside Nike’s social media lead for Western Europe Adam Field and Royal Philips’ global head of digital and social marketing Blake Cahill the panel will look at the challenges and techniques for attracting, engaging and converting fans to become brand advocates.
Within day one of the Digital PR breakout session the show will also hear from Adam Chaudhri, global PR and digital manager for British Airways. His breakout session will look at creating a dialogue with the customer in digital PR terms and how best to go about it.
These are just a few of the social media and marketing leads that we have sharing their expertise at the show – more are being added all the time. If there is anyone you would particularly like to hear from get in touch with the #SMWF team at enquiries@sixdegs.com.
